Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, mechanical, and control systems in an industrial manufacturing environment. You ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a wide range of production equipment, from legacy machinery to modern automated systems, by quickly diagnosing complex equipment failures and implementing effective repairs.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems operating at 120VAC, 480VAC, and 24VDC to ensure safe and reliable performance.
- Diagnose and repair industrial electrical and electronic equipment, including sensors, relays, contactors, and other control devices.
- Troubleshoot, install, and repair industrial motors, motor starters, and motor control circuits to minimize downtime.
- Assemble, wire, modify, and troubleshoot electrical control cabinets and control panels according to technical specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation to support accurate troubleshooting and installation.
- Diagnose and resolve both electrical and mechanical failures on production equipment to maintain continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and maintain Allen-Bradley PLC systems and related control hardware to support automated processes.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) to optimize motor performance and process control.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure proper function of machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment, ranging from older school machinery to modern automated manufacturing equipment, to reduce unplanned downtime.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with both legacy industrial machinery and modern automated manufacturing equipment.
- Comfort working independently on complex technical problems as well as collaborating with production and maintenance teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices in an industrial environment.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
- Willingness to develop skills and take on increasing responsibility to support performance-based growth opportunities.

Work Environment
This role is based in an industrial manufacturing facility operating on a night shift following a 2-2-3 schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, alternating). You work with a mix of older machinery and modern automated equipment. The environment emphasizes safe, reliable operation of equipment and offers overtime opportunities for those who want to increase their hours and earnings.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $74880.00 - $83200.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
