Job Description
This is the company’s first in-house DevOps and Platform Engineering hire. You will take ownership of a nine-month-old GCP platform from an outsourced team and lead its next stage of development.

The existing infrastructure is fully managed through Terraform, GitHub Actions and GCP Cloud Build, with Kubernetes and multi-tenancy already in place.

The platform works, but it was built pragmatically to get the first version of the product running.
\n
Kubernetes is still relatively simple, the tooling is not fixed and there is significant scope to improve how the platform is deployed, secured, observed and scaled.
\n
You will have the freedom to assess the existing setup, retain what works and introduce new tools and patterns where they add value, including technologies such as Helm, ArgoCD and GitOps.

The role will remain deeply hands-on. Over time, you will also help hire and establish the company’s internal DevOps and Platform Engineering team.
