Job Title: Design EngineerWork Location: Union City, TN.Job Type: Full-timeReports to: Director of Engineering - UCEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and interpret customer drawings, to prepare BOMs for project release to manufacturingRead customers order entry system, WinCAT, to prepare BOM's for project release to manufacturingWork with engineering manager or coordinator to schedule projectsCreate and modify SW models to create products for drawings or WinCATEngage with manufacturing to design error free parts and understand how parts flow through the plantAbility to work with engineers oversees, including scheduling, prioritizing, and per reviewing their workAbility to manage your own projects from design, manufacturer, to assemblyEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Bachelor Degree in Engineering3D modeling experience, Solidworks preferredSheet metal experience, punching, laser, forming, welding, etc.MRP experience, item master, bill of material, etc.Experience with sheet metal laboratory casework a plusRequirements:Computer software knowledge including Microsoft office productsExcellent communication skills (phone, written, verbal)Strong analytical, organizational, inter-personal, and detail-oriented skills and abilitiesDemonstrated success in teamwork and continuous improvementStrong commitment to excellence in customer serviceSelf-motivated with the ability to make judgement calls and work with little supervisionMinimum travel, may span weekends and or holidaysInstitutional Casework, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
