Hybrid- Monday and Friday remote.

This candidate will support the development of interior hard trim and overhead systems for full-size trucks and SUVs. Key components include:

• Injection-molded interior trim parts
• Pillar trim components
• Headliner substrates
• Overhead systems such as lighting, assist handles, coat hooks, and related components

Experience

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of automotive engineering experience.
• Plastics experience is required (injection molding, compression molding, plastic materials, or interior trim products).
• Design Release Engineering (DRE) experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of GD&T and dimensional analysis.
• Experience supporting product development, prototype builds, testing, and validation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development and release of interior trim and overhead system components.
• Define product requirements and ensure designs meet quality, cost, manufacturing, and performance targets.
• Create and manage engineering releases, drawings, and design changes.
• Support prototype builds, vehicle testing, validation, and issue resolution.
• Analyze fit, finish, dimensional variation, and assembly concerns.
• Work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready designs.
• Identify problems early and drive corrective actions through structured problem-solving.
