Job DescriptionServing with Compassion, Creativity, and Consistency. $24-25 an hour Position Summary: The 3rd Party Reviewer evaluates case history and needs to ensure safe progress, service compliance, and a focus on permanency. They are a neutral party responsible for conflict resolution, problem solving, and maintaining objectivity about the process – while staying focused on the best interest of the child, family, and permanency. Responsibilities:Attend and participate in Service Plan Reviews and Long Stayer Reviews, in a family-centered practice approach, with permanency planning in mind.Coordinate schedules and meetings to include key voices. Strive to host face-to-face meetings whenever possible. Know case history and dynamics to provide effective case planning guidance.Coordinate internal communication and tracking for accountability and collaboration.Objectively evaluate Service Plans to ensure local, state, and federal laws and timelines are being adhered to.Objectively mediate conflict with creative problem solving.Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner.Knowledgeable about Child Welfare, NYS OCFS, the legal system, and permanency planning.Knowledgeable about local and state resources.RequirementsEducationAssociate's Degree requiredBachelor's Degree preferredExperience2 years of experience in foster care, child welfare, or case management required.Driver's License and ability to maintain insurability throughout employment required.
