Position Summary
Boustris & Sons is seeking a Fire Alarm Testing & Inspection Technician to perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and deficiency documentation on commercial, multifamily, and institutional life safety systems throughout Massachusetts. Responsibilities
- Perform fire alarm testing and inspections in accordance with NFPA 72
- Identify and document deficiencies clearly and accurately
- Communicate field conditions and recommendations to supervisors and customers
- Coordinate with onsite property staff and maintenance teams
- Complete inspection and service documentation in a timely manner
- Support minor repairs and corrective work as needed
- Represent Boustris & Sons professionally in the field
Qualifications
- Experience in fire alarm testing and inspection
- Knowledge of commercial and multifamily fire alarm systems
- Ability to read plans, reports, and device layouts
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Massachusetts license and/or NICET certification preferred
- Apprentice candidates with at least 3 years of experience are encouraged to apply
