In this role, you will utilize your expertise in mission/software assurance, system architecture, and interface design. The selected candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and quality of hardware/software systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and design robust interfaces for seamless integration across MDS platforms.Responsibilities:Participate in hardware/software engineering activities to include mission/software assurance, code reviews, static analysis, testing, and engineering reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.Provide input to programs on software architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, security, and performance.Ensure hardware/software engineering/assurance processes are acceptable and reports are assessed.Provide technical guidance assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering.Collaborate with platform engineers, product leads, mission users, and government leadership to ensure AI efforts remain technically grounded and operationally relevant.Stay current on rapid changes in the AI ecosystem and provide informed recommendations on emerging tools and practices.Required Skills/Experience:Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field 12+ years of related professional experience Active DoD Secret security clearance, which requires US CitizenshipExtensive experience in hardware/software engineering processesExtensive experience in hardware/software assurance processesExperience assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineeringProfessional communications and organization skills Desired Skills/Experience:MDA ExperienceKnowledge of Agile Engineering Design Knowledge of Digital Engineering PrinciplesKnowledge of the Missile Defense System (elements, products, and capabilities)APPLY TODAY!!Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small BusinessEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO) employerReasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
