Job Description

DataStaff, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior MuleSoft Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Atlanta, GA.


*This position is hybrid; 1 day/week will be on-site. *LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY*


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop reusable and scalable integration frameworks and templates.
  • Ensure the quality, performance, and security of APIs by following best practices and standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot API performance issues and implement enhancements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specifications, data flows, and integration designs.
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of MuleSoft integrations in production environments.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect (MCPA) (preferred)
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and integration patterns.
  • Advanced experience in understanding the requirements and translate it into technical designs, leveraging services using RAML in Mule, REST-based APIs, SOAP Web services and the use of different Mule connectors.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced and practical technical experience in version Mulesoft 4.2 or higher. (GTRI currently on 4.3)
  • Advanced knowledge of AnyPoint Platform 7.5+.
  • Advanced experience in creating RAML, good understanding of protocols such as SOAP, WSDL, XSD, REST, JSON, etc.
  • Advanced working experience writing and running MUnit tests
  • Strong working experience using web services/APIs to access and integrate with external systems.
  • Advanced Experience in using database programming, including JDBC, and relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle
  • Good exposure to Continuous Integration and Delivery tools surrounding Anypoint Platform using tools like BitBucket and Bamboo, along with Anypoint Runtime Manager.
  • Develop architectural strategies for data modeling, design, and implementation to meet stated requirements for metadata management, operational data stores and Extract Transform Load environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Required Skills:

  • 5 Years - Hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API design and integration development.
  • 5 Years - Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, RAML, and/or OAS (OpenAPI Specification).
  • 5 Years - Experience with MuleSoft components such as API Manager, Runtime Manager, and DataWeave.
  • 5 Years - Proficiency in Java, XML, JSON, and related technologies


This position is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
