As a Security Officer Area Patrol in Dupont, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to verify that entry procedures are followed for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
- Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with directional needs, and completing required reports related to patrols, incidents, and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
