Rocky Mountain Protective Service Inc. is seeking an experienced Armed Security Supervisor to provide daily leadership and operational oversight for an armed security team in a professional, public-facing environment.
The Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining security coverage, monitoring officer performance, responding to incidents, and ensuring all security procedures and professional standards are followed.
Responsibilities

Supervise and provide daily direction to armed security officers.

Ensure all assigned posts remain properly staffed and covered.

Conduct shift briefings and routine post inspections.

Monitor officer attendance, punctuality, uniform appearance, equipment, and performance.

Support access control, patrol, building security, and incident-response operations.

Ensure established security procedures are consistently followed.

Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and the public.

Assist with verbal de-escalation and security incidents.

Review daily activity and incident reports for accuracy.

Report significant incidents through the appropriate chain of command.

Assist with call-offs and replacement staffing.

Monitor officer training and qualification compliance.

Perform security duties when necessary to maintain coverage.
Qualifications
-
Previous professional security experience required.

Supervisory, lead officer, or team-lead experience preferred.

Armed security, corrections, military, law-enforcement, or similar experience preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, customer-service, and conflict-resolution skills.

Strong report-writing and documentation skills.

Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during incidents.

Must successfully complete required background checks and fingerprinting.

Must meet all applicable armed-security qualification requirements.

Candidates must be able to complete or maintain required:

Firearms qualification

Use of Force training

Verbal de-escalation training

Stop the Bleed training

First Aid/CPR certification

Required security and assignment-specific training
