POSITION SUMMARY:
The Part-Time Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment withing assigned facilities. This position performs routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal and sanitizing restrooms and common areas. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and must be able to work independently in an office/ light industrial setting.
Typical duties may include but not limited to:
- Dusting / vacuuming carpets, mats, and rugs
- Sweeping and mopping of floors
- Office trash collection
- Thorough cleaning of all bathrooms / locker rooms
- Keeping the exterior of the building clean which may include shoveling/snow removal, leaf clean up, etc.
- Perform all duties assigned.
- The Custodian must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and handle the physical demands of the job.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirements/Experience
- A High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid PA Class C driver’s license is preferred.
- At least five (5) years of custodial or janitorial experience is preferred
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and handle the physical demands of the job.
