Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Communications Technician to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting mission-critical space and aerospace operations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with fiber optics, structured network cabling, and communications infrastructure in high-reliability environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling.
- Install and support structured cabling systems, network racks, patch panels, and communications equipment.
- Perform OTDR, power meter, and cable certification testing.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate installation records and test results.
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and industry standards.
Minimum Experience:
- Data Center Operations
- Interpret network porting labels for Cat 6 and Fiber
- Handle and Manage Cat6 and Fiber
