The Opportunity
\n
GlassCraft Door Company is seeking a Corporate Systems Developer to join our Corporate Systems & Technology team. You will independently deliver applications, automations, and integrations that connect our e-commerce product configuration and quoting experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and other operational systems. You will also help incorporate practical AI capabilities into selected business and customer-facing solutions.
\n
This role is a step beyond entry level: you should be comfortable taking a well-defined need through technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, and support. Your early priorities will include our CPQ environment, Dynamics 365 Sales integrations, Power Automate workflows, future EDI connections, and targeted AI-enabled projects. We are not looking for someone to invent or train foundation models from scratch. We want a developer who can evaluate an existing hosted or open-weight model, customize how it uses company knowledge, and integrate it responsibly into a useful application or workflow.
\n
\n
What You'll Own
\n
· Deliver e-commerce and CPQ enhancements involving product rules, configuration logic, quoting, pricing-related workflows, and supporting interfaces.
\n
· Design and support integrations with Dynamics 365 Sales using APIs, data mappings, scheduled processes, and event-driven workflows.
\n
· Build dependable Power Automate flows with validation, monitoring, error handling, and recovery procedures.
\n
· Use SQL, application code, and logs to diagnose cross-system issues and implement durable corrections.
\n
· Translate operational needs into technical requirements, estimates, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
\n
· Plan tested, documented deployments and maintain runbooks, integration diagrams, and technical specifications.
\n
· Coordinate defined deliverables with outside developers and consultants, including requirements clarification and results verification.
\n
· Help establish secure, reusable integration patterns and data standards for future EDI capabilities.
\n
· Evaluate existing AI models and integrate selected capabilities through APIs, private/local hosting, retrieval-based knowledge, automation, and conventional application code.
\n
· Prepare domain content, prompts, examples, evaluation cases, and—where appropriate—training or fine-tuning data used to customize AI behavior.
\n
- \n
- · Build appropriate testing, monitoring, access controls, human review, fallback behavior, and documentation around AI-enabled features.
\n
\n
\n
What You'll Bring
\n
· Typically two or more years of relevant development, automation, application-support, or systems-integration experience—or equivalent demonstrated project experience.
\n
· Strong SQL skills and practical experience with at least one language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Python.
\n
· Hands-on experience with APIs, JSON, relational data, authentication concepts, and integration troubleshooting.
\n
· Working familiarity with AI systems and how an existing hosted or open-weight model can be incorporated into a software project or business workflow.
\n
· Experience carrying technical work from design through deployment and production support.
\n
· Sound judgment about production data, security, testing, documentation, and when to escalate risk.
\n
· Clear communication with both business users and technical contributors.
\n
· Availability to work on-site in the Houston area.
\n
\n
Helpful, but Not Required
\n
· Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Dataverse, Power Automate, or another Microsoft Power Platform product.
\n
· E-commerce, CPQ, product configurators, quoting tools, or complex product and pricing rules.
\n
· Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or another manufacturing/distribution ERP platform.
\n
· REST APIs, webhooks, Microsoft SQL Server, Git, automated testing, CI/CD, or EDI.
\n
· Agile planning, estimation, backlog refinement, reviews, or retrospectives.
\n
· Coordinating technical work with contract developers, consultants, or vendors.
\n
· Secure environments, access controls, least privilege, secrets protection, or secure data handling.
\n
· Cybersecurity coursework, certifications, projects, or professional experience.
\n
· AI model APIs, open-weight models, prompt and context design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings or vector search, evaluation tools, model hosting, or lightweight fine-tuning.
\n
· Preparing domain knowledge, examples, or datasets to train, tune, evaluate, or ground an AI application.
\n
\n
Why GlassCraft
\n
You will join a small, hands-on technology function where your projects are visible and connected to real business outcomes. You will work directly with the teams that use the systems you support, have room to influence how integrations and development practices mature, and gain broader ownership as the company expands its digital capabilities. We value demonstrated ability, practical judgment, and continuous learning—not only a particular degree or career path.
