Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cisco CCIE Expert Engineer to support complex enterprise and government network infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and securing Cisco networking technologies across large-scale environments.
The successful candidate will have expert-level routing and switching knowledge, strong experience with Cisco platforms, and the ability to work in classified or highly secure government and Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance.
- Cisco CCIE certification in one of the following areas:
- Enterprise Infrastructure
- Routing & Switching
- Security
- Service Provider
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on Cisco network engineering experience.
- Expert-level knowledge of advanced routing and networking protocols, including:
- BGP
- OSPF
- EIGRP
- IS-IS
- MPLS
- Route Maps
- Prefix Lists
- Policy-Based Routing (PBR)
- Route Redistribution
- Experience using Titania Nipper / Nipper Studio for network device configuration auditing and compliance assessments.
- Strong understanding of Cisco networking and security technologies, including:
- Cisco IOS, IOS XE, and IOS XR
- Cisco Nexus switching platforms
- Cisco ASA and FTD firewalls
- VPN technologies
- Network segmentation and security architecture
- Experience supporting classified government or Department of Defense (DoD) network environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale enterprise network architecture and infrastructure modernization.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards.
- Experience conducting network configuration audits and security assessments.
- Familiarity with government network security policies and operational procedures.
- Ability to analyze complex network issues and develop effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and maintain complex Cisco network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot advanced routing, switching, and connectivity issues.
- Configure and optimize routing protocols and network traffic policies.
- Support Cisco Nexus, IOS/XE/XR, ASA, and FTD environments.
- Implement and maintain VPN solutions and network segmentation strategies.
- Perform network configuration audits and compliance assessments using Titania Nipper/Nipper Studio.
- Support secure network operations in classified government and DoD environments.
- Analyze network performance, identify potential risks, and recommend infrastructure improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, security, and operations teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and configuration standards
