The Property Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facility. Working both independently and as part of a maintenance team, this technician handles a wide range of maintenance tasks using company-provided and or personal tools. The role involves regular basic repairs and preventive maintenance to keep property in excellent condition.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance orders
- Service and or inspect HVAC systems regularly
- Carry out unit flip tasks; carpet removal, replacing plumbing and light fixtures, appliance installation
- Capable of the physical demands that include lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, or carrying 60 lbs. from floor level to overhead position
- Inspect equipment for safety and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
- Complete preventive maintenance activities
- Respond to emergency repair requests promptly
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in property maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification in property maintenance or related field
- Knowledge of electrical systems maintenance
- Experience with plumbing repair
- Understanding of HVAC systems
- Painting skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective time management
- Good communication skills
- Adherence to safety compliance standards
