APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Livonia, MI looking to add Facility Maintenance Tech to their already amazing team. They are looking for an individual who has great problem-solving skills, loves all things mechanical and is looking to grow and learn in the maintenance field. Keep reading for more details! What your day will look like:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the warehouse and facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building issues.
• Maintain and repair doors, dock equipment, fixtures, shelving, lighting, and other facility equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Handle basic carpentry, painting, drywall, patching, and other general handyman projects.
• Maintain warehouse grounds and assist with snow removal, landscaping, or exterior maintenance as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize repairs based on urgency and operational needs.
• Coordinate with outside contractors or vendors when repairs require specialized services.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and follow all facility safety procedures.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years mechanical aptitude and experience (even if it's a hobby) is ideal
• Excellent attendance and attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime and weekends on an as needed basis
