Location
On site at Fort George G. Meade, MD, on a hybrid schedule. Daily on-site coverage Monday through Friday, core hours 0900 to 1500 ET; the onsite and telework balance is set by the COR at award.

Position Summary
Serve as cloud lead for a DoD emerging technology program, designing, deploying, maintaining, and securing multi-cloud infrastructure used for technology testing and evaluation, with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, maintain, and secure cloud infrastructure across Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud.
- Deploy and scale applications and services, and build templates for repeatable deployments using infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Deploy, configure, secure, and manage cloud-native container orchestration services such as AWS EKS/ECS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, and Oracle OKE.
- Configure virtual machines, networks, and user accounts; monitor health and performance; and enforce security policies and access controls.
- Perform regular maintenance, including patches and updates, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with cloud service providers and document configurations and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in DoD, commercial, or comparable environments.
- Active Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship required.
- DoD 8140 certification at the Basic proficiency level for DCWF work role 451 (System Administrator) plus an industry cloud certification, or an Intermediate proficiency level certification for work role 451.
- Ability to provide on-site support at Fort George G. Meade, MD, during core hours.
