The Maintenance Man - will perform routine painting and maintenance duties primarily in a hospital setting as part of a large facilities maintenance department. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment through painting projects and floor repairs. There is no travel involved, and the position offers growth opportunities through cross-training in other maintenance trades.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance painting projects in hospital environments
- Lay and repair vinyl composition tiles
- Install and repair carpeting as needed
- Maintain the use and upkeep of painting tools and sprayers
- Collaborate with the facilities maintenance team to support overall building upkeep
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient with painting tools and sprayers
- Experience laying and repairing carpet and vinyl composition tiles
