Winnies is hiring now: Head of Maintenance
Winnies is a brand-new college bar opening in August 2026, and we're looking for a Head of Maintenance to help us maintain our facilities.
The Maintenance Supervisor reports to the General Manager and oversees all the maintenance needs, physical appearance, and work orders on the property. The Maintenance Supervisor's primary responsibilities are hands-on maintenance of the property including general upkeep and repair to the building and grounds, and maintaining a positive guest experience through outstanding customer service. On call and some weekend availability required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the daily operations of the property
- Work Order response, management, maintenance, and follow up, hands on maintenance
- Receive and accurately document all deliveries to the property
- Coordinate scheduling with maintenance subcontractors and vendors as needed
- Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are being followed to keep the property in pristine condition
- Reporting and computer work as required through company policy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent, required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- At least 5 years experience in commercial, restaurant/bar, or hospitality maintenance preferred
- Electrical, Plumbing, Appliance repair
- Painting and Drywall repairs
- HVAC I, II, and Refrigeration Certification preferred
- Must be able to lift and work with heavy equipment
- A valid driver's license, good driving record and proof of insurance is required
- Must have own tools
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, leadership and basic computer skills
