Full Stack Angular Developer

Duration: 6 month contract, potential to convert to fulltime

Location: 4 days Downtown Pittsburgh | 1 day remote

Overview

\n

We are seeking a Full Stack Angular Developer to join a collaborative Agile development team focused on building and enhancing enterprise applications. This role is heavily front-end focused, with approximately 80% of the work centered around Angular development and 20% involving SQL Server database work. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with modern Angular frameworks, solid SQL fundamentals, and the ability to contribute effectively within a Scrum-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular.

\n

• Build responsive, scalable, and high-performing user interfaces.

\n

• Leverage modern Angular capabilities, including Signals and RxJS.

\n

• Write and execute SQL Server queries to support application functionality and troubleshooting.

\n

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, UX designers, and business stakeholders.

\n

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

\n

• Work from Jira tickets to deliver features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

\n

• Contribute to technical discussions, solution design, and continuous improvement initiatives.

\n

• Develop a strong understanding of the business domain and how technical solutions support organizational objectives.

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• 5+ years of professional Angular development experience.

\n

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular 18+ (experience with Angular 20/21+ is highly preferred).

\n

• Experience working with Angular Signals and RxJS.

\n

• Proficiency with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end development practices.

\n

• Experience writing SQL Server queries and performing basic database analysis and troubleshooting.

\n

• Familiarity with Git, GitHub and/or GitLab.

\n

• Experience using Jira for Agile software development.

\n

• Experience with Node.js and Visual Studio Code.

\n

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

\n

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical and business teams.

\n

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

\n

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Devin, Windsurf, Codex, or similar platforms.

\n

• Experience participating in application architecture or technical design discussions.

\n

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications.

• Ability to quickly learn new business domains and technologies.
