Lynd Management Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support the operations and regulatory compliance of an affordable multifamily property.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, knowledgeable about affordable housing requirements, and committed to providing excellent resident service.

What You’ll Do
- Assist the Property Manager with daily operations and affordable housing compliance.
- Support leasing, renewals, occupancy, collections, and resident relations.
- Process applications, leases, deposits, certifications, and recertifications.
- Review applicant and resident documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain resident files, waiting lists, transfer lists, and compliance records.
- Collect rent, post payments, and assist with delinquent accounts.
- Prepare bank deposits, reports, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Assist with file audits, Management and Occupancy Reviews, and physical inspections.
- Help correct audit findings, file deficiencies, and inspection concerns.
- Use applicable HUD systems, including EIV, TRACS, and iMAX.
- Assist with resident questions, supportive services, and complaint resolution.
- Assume additional office responsibilities in the Property Manager’s absence.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least two years of affordable housing property management, leasing, or compliance experience.
- Experience with HUD, Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC, HOME, Bond, or similar programs.
- Knowledge of HUD Handbook 4350.3 and applicable occupancy requirements.
- Experience completing certifications, recertifications, income verifications, and file reviews.
- Knowledge of EIV, TRACS, iMAX, or other applicable HUD systems.
- Certified Occupancy Specialist certification required for HUD-governed properties.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements.
- Strong organizational, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- RealPage OneSite experience preferred.
- Ability to travel locally for deposits, meetings, errands, or other business needs.
