🚧 Design Quantities Engineer | Herndon, VA

I’m currently looking for a Design Quantities Engineer to join a major U.S. civil infrastructure contractor in Herndon, Virginia.
\n
\n
The role focuses on quantity takeoffs for bids and design-build pursuits, reviewing plans and specifications, maintaining quantity workpapers, supporting quantity variance reviews, and collaborating with Engineering, Cost Control and BIM teams.
\n
\n
🔹 Location: Herndon, VA
\n
🔹 Travel: Approximately 20%
\n
🔹 Experience: 10+ years in heavy civil construction / estimating
\n
🔹 Education: Bachelor’s degree
\n
🔹 Preferred: Bluebeam, HCSS/HeavyBid, Agtek, Primavera P6
\n
🔹 Background: Heavy civil, transportation, infrastructure, bridges, roads or tunneling
\n
\n
