Job Title: Maintenance Tech
FLSA Status: Hourly
ISO_QF 7201_Production – Metal Fabrication Maintenance Manager
Major Job Duties and TEK Levels:

- Maintain all machinery to ensure functionality at the established working standards.
- Work closely with the maintenance manager to implement a basic preventive maintenance program, including adoption of PM software.
- Work closely with Plant Mangers to schedule all emergency and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections to detect, prevent, and resolve problems.
- Supervise and liaison with outside service contractors to ensure that work is performed to expectations.
- Document maintenance logs.
- Maintain critical spare parts lists; establish safe stocking levels; inventory routinely and coordinate replacement ordering to prevent unnecessary stockouts.
- Champion 8/S, with particular emphasis on stock room, tooling and die organization.
- Ability to multi-task and possess attention to detail.
Competencies and Authorities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience/qualifications.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment.
- Good understanding of electricity, plumbing, and carpentry, as well as a good understanding of technical prints and engineering drawings.
- Good mathematical and computer skills.
- Effective communication skills
Certification: Certified Forklift Operations preferred, but training available upon hiring.
Work Environment:
Production areas can be demanding, sometimes requiring additionally hearing, eye, thermal, or other protection on the manufacturing floor. At a minimum, safety glasses and steel-toe (or equivalent) work shoes are mandatory PPE for any employee working in a Production area.
