Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on die casting machines, automation systems, robotics, CNC equipment, and plant support equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems.
- Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Rebuild, install, and maintain manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Support facility maintenance, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all safety procedures.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Technical school diploma in a related field with at least one year of industrial maintenance experience, or a high school diploma/GED with five or more years of maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, CNC, and robotic systems.
- Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
- Ability to work independently and lead small teams when needed.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment and perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 70 pounds.
