Jack Hornsby Electric is looking for an Assistant Electrical Project Manager who wants to learn every aspect of commercial and industrial project management while working alongside experienced Project Managers.
This role is designed for someone who enjoys organization, solving problems, and supporting successful projects-and who wants a clear path toward becoming a Project Manager.
Many of our leaders started in support roles and advanced through hard work, mentorship, and hands-on experience. We believe in promoting from within whenever possible.

What you'll be doing:
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating electrical projects
- Prepare RFIs, submittals, permits, change orders, and project documentation
- Coordinate vendors, material deliveries, and inspections
- Maintain project files and project management software
- Track labor hours, project costs, and schedules
- Communicate with customers, subcontractors, inspectors, and field teams
- Conduct occasional jobsite visits
- Help Project Managers keep projects organized and moving forward
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and specifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Desire to build a long-term career in project management
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
