Job DescriptionThe City of Pearsall is currently accepting Applications for the following position:Job title: Parks Maintenance WorkerOpen Date: June 18, 2026Closing Date: July 02, 2026Job Type: Full Time/Non-ExemptHours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm (hours and days may vary)Salary: Entry level - $14.42/per hr.Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, supplemental death benefit, accidental, critical illness, short-term disability, & life insurance, hospital indemnity, paid Holidays, Uniform and Critical Area, sick leave pool,Paid Vacation, & Sick Leave and Anytime Fitness membership.Job Summary:Parks maintenance workers keep up the appearance, health, and safety of landscapes and features in public parks. They maintain jogging and biking paths, athletic fields, playgrounds, picnic tables, benches, lawns, flower beds, and gardens.Minimum Qualifications / Acceptable Equivalency:•1 yr. of experience working in a ground maintenance capacity, nursery, greenhouse, or other landscape related organization preferred.•Ability to pass a pre-employment DPS Background check, Drug test, Physical and Lumbar X-ray.•Must possess a valid Texas Class C Driver's License.•Possess, or ability to obtain, applicator's pesticide & herbicide control licensing.For more information contact: Raquel E.
