Blue Streak Lighting & Electric is seeking an experienced Senior Service Electrician to perform commercial and multi-family electrical service, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations throughout the Bay Area.
This is a senior-level position requiring at least four years of verifiable commercial electrical experience. We are looking for a self-sufficient electrician who can diagnose electrical problems, perform quality installations, communicate professionally with customers, and complete projects safely with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot electrical systems from 120V–480V
- Install and replace subpanels, meter-mains, disconnects, and service equipment
- Perform electrical service upgrades and infrastructure improvements
- Install branch circuits, lighting systems, controls, and related electrical equipment
- Read electrical plans, wiring diagrams, and specifications
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code and local requirements
- Complete digital work orders, material lists, and job documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Provide professional customer service while representing Blue Streak Lighting & Electric
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of verifiable commercial electrical field experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with panel replacements, service upgrades, and commercial electrical installations
- Working knowledge of 120V–480V electrical systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record
- Personal hand tools required
- OSHA 10 Certification preferred
