Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support utility regulatory filings and compliance initiatives. This role will provide project administration and coordination support for the development, tracking, and management of regulatory cases, ensuring documentation, deadlines, and submission requirements are completed accurately and on time.

The Project Coordinator will work closely with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Operations, and Technical stakeholders to facilitate case preparation, maintain compliance-related records, and monitor project progress. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities associated with utility regulatory filings, rate cases, compliance filings, and regulatory reviews.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, deadlines, and submission requirements to ensure timely completion of regulatory activities.
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and compliant project documentation and filing records.
  • Perform quality reviews and validation of financial, operational, and technical data used in regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather, review, and compile information required for regulatory filings.
  • Monitor project status and provide updates to project teams and leadership.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to streamline regulatory case preparation workflows and enhance cross-functional coordination.
  • Assist with meeting coordination, action item tracking, reporting, and project communications.
  • Ensure all documentation and activities align with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting projects, regulatory activities, compliance initiatives, or administrative functions.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively under deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting utility, energy, regulatory, compliance, or corporate governance projects.
  • Familiarity with project coordination, document management, and reporting processes.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry environment.
