Kreider Farms is seeking a dependable, hands-on Property Maintenance Lead to help maintain and improve our facilities, equipment, and property. We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands. This is a perfect job for a “jack-of-all-trades” that has the skills to be a trim/finish carpenter but wants some variety in the work they do.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance on buildings and facilities
- Complete carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, and basic electrical work
- Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues as they arise
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
- Assist with upkeep of grounds and property
- Proficient in operating hand and power tools safely
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner – sometimes on “off” hours
- Support facility projects and improvements as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in carpentry, general construction, facilities maintenance, or a related field
- Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record required
- Experience operating heavy equipment, and driving large trucks preferred
- Ability to pass background check and/or MVR
