Maintenance Technician
Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician who enjoys diagnosing equipment issues and keeping production running at peak performance? We are partnering with a growing manufacturer seeking an experienced maintenance professional to support a high-volume production environment. Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment including punch presses, thermoformers, interfolders, packaging equipment, and other manufacturing machinery.
- Troubleshoot machine control circuitry, PLCs, servo drives, motors, and automated equipment to minimize downtime.
- Replace, repair, or fabricate machine components as needed to restore equipment to proper operating condition.
- Complete maintenance work accurately, safely, and efficiently while following company policies and procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and maintain accurate work orders, maintenance logs, inspection sheets, and checklists.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Adjust machine settings and operating parameters to improve equipment performance and product quality.
- Train and support production personnel on proper equipment operation and basic maintenance practices.
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), GMPs, and company safety standards.
- Operate forklifts and man lifts as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Extensive mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, machine control circuitry, servo drives, motors, and automated production equipment.
- Experience maintaining punch presses, thermoformers, interfolders, packaging equipment, or similar industrial machinery.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Must provide your own maintenance tools and test equipment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the maintenance and production teams.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or extended shifts when production demands require.
