The impact you’ll make
- Stabilize and enhance facilities/utilities equipment through troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic/vacuum systems
- Own repairs, rebuilds, calibrations, installations, setups, and ongoing maintenance
- Execute inspections, monitoring, replacements, reinstallations, and validation testing
- Drive preventive maintenance during shutdowns and weekends to maximize uptime
- Capture readings and produce daily/monthly reports in CMMS to inform decisions
- Operate lift equipment and safely complete overhead tasks
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure correct operation
- Complete the General Maintenance Training Program and meet all essential job functions
What you’ll need to succeed
- High School Diploma or GED required; two-to-four-year Technical Degree preferred
- 3–5 years with facility and utilities equipment preferred
- Track record of safety, strong work ethic, professionalism, and meticulous problem-solving
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude; PLC knowledge preferred
- Experience with building automation controls and programming
- Team collaborator with clear written and verbal communication
- Fluency with hand tools, hand-held power tools, and precision measurement tools
Physical realities of the work
Comfort bending, twisting, reaching, and performing repetitive arm movements; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; stand on concrete for extended periods; work mandatory overtime; and operate in temperatures up to 100+ degrees.
Compensation and growth
These are hourly positions with a wage rate up to $31.70 per hour (based on experience and competency). You’ll also be eligible for a structured bonus plan with quarterly bonus potential of up to 10.5% of quarterly eligible earnings, plus medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, 14 paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, free uniforms, safety boot reimbursement, prescription safety glasses (frames and lenses), and clear avenues for career advancement.
