We are searching for a Data Center Planning Lead to join one of our clients in the high frequency trading industry, to sit in either NYC or Chicago. This position offers the opportunity to join one of the most cutting edge firms in the business, to lead the expansion of their HPC/AI infrastructure buildout from a hands on, technical project management perspective.

Responsibilities

- Manage the full HPC infrastructure project portfolio
- Driving prioritisation of various infrastructure and DC expansion projects
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships, negotiating, coordinating and overseeing the full scope
- Assist and lead negotiations of new leases for expanding footprint
- Oversee implementation of compute, storage, network and HPC infra
- Use AI tools day to day, assisting in project planning, reporting, analysis and operations

Requirements

- Experience managing HPC infrastructure projects and large scale DC projects
- Experience managing relationships with contractors, leaseholders and vendors
- Capacity and space planning expertise
- Hands on experience with Compute, Storage, HPC and Networking
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Python scripting ability
