Title: Network Analyst II
Location: Ft. Walton Beach - ONSITE
Pay Range: $45-51.51/HR
Schedule: 7:30-5:30 PM
Duration: Temp to hire position
Summary:
The Network Analyst II is responsible for the operational maintenance (O&M) and stability of local network infrastructure. This role ensures high availability of connectivity services by managing hardware lifecycle, resolving technical incidents via the ServiceNow ticketing system, and maintaining the physical integrity of data center and closet environments. The candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for end-user network requests and critical break-fix recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
- Provide primary O&M support for local network hardware, including SDWAN routers, LAN switches, and Wireless Access Points (WAPs).
- Monitor and maintain Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to ensure power redundancy and network uptime.
- Perform routine firmware updates and hardware replacements making sure Physical Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and maintain cable infrastructure, ensuring all patching is labeled, routed, and documented.
- Oversee the organization and safety of data closets, ensuring they meet corporate standards for cleanliness and airflow.
- Perform physical audits of hardware installations to ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines.
- Incident & Request Management:
- Drive daily activities based on end-user needs and the ServiceNow queue.
- Execute "Break-fix" resolutions for network outages or degraded performance to minimize business impact.
- Fulfill standard operational work requests, such as VLAN assignments, port activation, and hardware deployments.
Skills Required:
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco SDWAN, switching, and wireless technologies.
- Preferred: Fluency in using Cisco network manage tools such as Catalyst Center , vManage, Cisco Thousand Eyes. Other network management tools such as SolarWinds, Netbrain, StatSeeker. Good understanding of IP Management DNS/DHCP
Experience Required:
- 11 years with HS Diploma
- Preferred: 11+ Years with HS 7+ Years with AA 5+ Years with BS
Education Required:
- 11+ Years with HS 7+ Years with AA
- Any network or IT certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Sec+)
