The Assistant Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and supports the upkeep, repair, and preparation of apartments, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Paint walls, patch drywall, repair doors and locks, and prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins.
- Repair leaky faucets, unclog drains, replace light switches, and assist with minor appliance installations.
- Collect trash, sweep breezeways, and maintain outdoor common areas.
- Complete seasonal tasks, including snow and leaf removal.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teamwork skills.
