Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Support Technician to join our team in Pennsylvania in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This role supports day-to-day cloud operations and end-user technology needs, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 and Azure administration. The ideal candidate brings hands-on technical support experience, strong troubleshooting ability, and a proactive approach to improving reliability, security, and user experience across the environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee administration of the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environment, including account provisioning, group management, license assignment, and ongoing tenant health and security review.
• Deliver responsive support to employees by diagnosing and resolving issues involving devices, operating systems, connectivity, and core Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Office tools.
• Set up, maintain, and optimize cloud-based platforms and applications within the Microsoft ecosystem to ensure stable and effective service delivery.
• Create and update clear technical documentation, support procedures, and resolution records to improve knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
• Partner with the broader digital and IT teams to introduce new technologies, strengthen current solutions, and support infrastructure-related initiatives.
• Track hardware assets and software entitlements to help maintain accurate inventory records and licensing compliance.
• Monitor system performance, endpoint posture, and security controls, applying updates and patches when needed to sustain reliability and protection.
• Assist with technology rollout efforts involving Microsoft infrastructure and end-user equipment deployment.• 2 to 5 years of information technology experience, including direct work with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.
• Practical experience managing Microsoft licensing, user access, and cloud services across tools such as Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and Microsoft Exchange.
• Ability to support end users with hardware, software, and network troubleshooting in a help desk or desktop support environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications and services including SharePoint, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Windows-based environments.
• Understanding of endpoint security, patching, performance monitoring, and general IT security best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Information Systems, Network Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Certifications or training such as Microsoft Azure Administration, Microsoft 365 Administration, CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ are valued but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
