As a Security Officer Patrol Compliance Associate in Pasadena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant activity according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, exhibit areas, public spaces, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff movement, and/or report maintenance, policy, or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Support museum operations during opening, closing, special events, and/or high-traffic periods by following post orders and communicating professionally with guests, staff, and first responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
