Compensation:

$20 - $20.50 hourly


Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance technicians and engineering staff.
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Perform and direct hands-on troubleshooting and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and manage scheduled preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of hotel equipment and guestrooms.
  • Guest Services: Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all emergency systems, equipment, and building operations comply with OSHA and Fire Safety codes.
  • Administration: Maintain repair logs, order inventory, manage departmental budgets, and oversee third-party contractors.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Typically 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in hotel maintenance or building engineering, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Technical Skills: Comprehensive working knowledge of building systems, especially HVAC chillers, boilers, refrigeration, and electrical.
  • Certifications: Technical or trade school certifications (e.g., HVAC EPA certification) are highly preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
