Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Control in Russellville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will help support access control operations, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help discourage security-related incidents. In this role, you will stay visible, deliver strong customer service and communication, and bring a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working with integrity and teamwork every day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor and delivery access, and maintain required logs and records related to security-related activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
- Support vehicle and gate access operations by checking authorized access, directing traffic flow, and documenting security-related concerns involving personnel, equipment, and/or shipments.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
