Job Description
· Perform inspections of products at different stages of the production process to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
Key Responsibilities/Tasks
· Conduct visual and physical inspections of raw materials, parts, sub-assemblies, and finished products as they move through the production process.
· Use inspection tools and measuring equipment like calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales, etc. to verify specifications.
· Document inspection findings accurately and maintain detailed records of quality control activities.
· Identify defects or non-conformities and properly tag or mark defective products.
· Inform the manager immediately about persistent or serious quality issues.
· Recommend improvements to inspection protocols and procedures.
· Assist in root cause analysis of problems and corrective/preventive actions.
· Clearly communicate quality control requirements to production team members
· Ensure a smooth workflow by working closely with production personnel.
· Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
Requirements
a) Education and experience
· High school diploma or GED required; A degree or vocational certification in manufacturing or quality control a plus.
· Basic math skills for performing measurements and calculations.
· Meticulous attention to detail and strong visual acuity
· Manual dexterity for operating inspection tools and equipment
· Ability to stand or sit for long periods while performing inspections.
· Basic computer literacy for record-keeping

· Wiling to learn on the job and take initiative
· Interpersonal communications skills
· Detail orientation
· Responsible; follows-through on tasks.
· Ability to quickly analyze a situation and follow a systematic approach to problem resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
· Knowledgeable in CMM programming and use
· Experience in use of vision inspection system
· Knowledge of ISO 9001and associated quality
