Position Overview:
Our client is - seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr/Staff Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on creating innovative and efficient solutions. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, as well as providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software applications that meet business requirements and adhere to coding standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, and provide timely resolutions
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior engineers
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices and continuous learning
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and incorporate them into our development processes
- Participate in the planning and estimation of project timelines and deliverables
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project success
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web-based applications
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with databases and SQL
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
