The Assistant Property Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Property Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of residential properties. Working within a medium-sized team, this position focuses on tenant relations, lease administration, and coordinating property maintenance to maintain high standards of living and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage tenant relations and provide excellent customer service
- Support leasing activities, including tenant screening and lease preparation
- Coordinate timely rent collection and follow-up on payment issues
- Generate and assist with financial reporting related to property operations
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure property maintenance and repairs
- Administer lease agreements and maintain accurate documentation
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance and upkeep
- Resolve tenant complaints and conflicts efficiently and professionally
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in property management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient with property management software
- Strong skills in tenant relations and facility management
- Experience in leasing and financial reporting
- Excellent conflict resolution and communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills
This position requires weekend availability to work.
