Shift: Training on 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM), then transition to 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in the South Memphis area. This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional with industrial maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
Successful candidates will train on 1st shift for approximately one month (potentially sooner based on performance) before moving permanently to 3rd shift.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain production lines, motors, AC inverters, drives, and related equipment.
- Build, wire, and troubleshoot electrical control panels.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble production equipment and components.
- Rebuild and maintain industrial valves and associated systems.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Repair gearboxes, motors, controls, and production equipment as needed.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Support production operations by responding to equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
- Utilize a variety of maintenance skills, including welding and fabrication when necessary.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with:
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Motors and controls
- Gearboxes
- Electrical circuits
- Ability to disassemble, repair, and rebuild industrial equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
Preferred
- Experience in a high-speed packaging or manufacturing environment.
- PLC troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
- Electrical maintenance experience.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
