Janitorial duties are the routine cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep tasks performed to keep a building clean, safe, and presentable. Common responsibilities include:
MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION & WORK WEEKENDS /SOME HOLIDAYS
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and common areas
- Emptying trash and recycling bins
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass doors
- Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Disinfecting high-touch surfaces (e.g., doorknobs, light switches, handrails)
- Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment
- Following safety procedures and using cleaning chemicals properly
