Machine Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift
The Machine Maintenance Technician will complete preventative maintenance requirements (equipment, conveyor systems, production machines); performs minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and other aspects of the physical plant.
LOCATION: Townsend, MA 01469
POSITION: Contract
SCHEDULE: 3rd Shift - 11:00pm to 7:00am - Sun to Thurs
PAY RATE: $25.00hr - 29.00hr - manager will decide DOE
- Responsible for Maximizing production up time and high-quality products by ensuring machines and physical plant are operating at optimum levels.
- Completes preventative maintenance requirements (equipment, conveyor systems, production machines); performs minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and other aspects of the physical plant.
- Provides ongoing troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devised in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Restores machine operations by diagnosing extent of repairs required, refitting, repairing, replacing parts, or making adjustments.
- Trains production employees in routine preventative maintenance techniques.
REQUIREMENTS:
- HS/GED and 2 years-experience or Tech Cert
- 2+ Years Experience in maintenance in a production environment
- Basic electrical and electronic repair knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of machine tools.
- Mechanical, electrical and computer certification preferred.
- Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Experience with troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
