Job DescriptionSalary: $100K - $120K

Position Overview

The Scheduler manages scheduling activities tied directly to the CNY C6 project and works closely with operations leadership, Project Managers, engineering teams, field supervision, subcontractors, procurement, and support departments to keep project schedules aligned with ongoing construction operations throughout the Project.

The role stays involved in schedule development, sequencing discussions, production tracking, milestone coordination, recovery planning, subcontractor scheduling, and progress updates tied to active work areas across the Project. The Scheduler is expected to maintain visibility on schedule impacts, identify conflicts early, and keep communication between operations, engineering, subcontractors, procurement, and Project leadership as work progresses.


Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling activities tied directly to the CNY C6 project throughout all phases of work
  • Work directly with operations leadership, Project Managers, engineering teams, field supervision, subcontractors, procurement, and support departments assigned to the Project
  • Develop, update, and maintain project schedules tied to ongoing construction operations and milestone-sensitive work activities
  • Participate in operational meetings, planning discussions, schedule reviews, coordination meetings, and project updates tied to ongoing work activities
  • Review sequencing concerns, production impacts, subcontractor activities, schedule changes, delays, and field coordination issues tied to active work areas
  • Identify and address scheduling conflicts, sequencing problems, access restrictions, subcontractor delays, and operational impacts before they begin affecting project milestones or production goals
  • Coordinate communication between operations, engineering, subcontractors, procurement, field supervision, project controls, and Project leadership throughout the Project
  • Track schedule progress, milestone activities, production updates, recovery efforts, and coordination items tied to assigned work activities
  • Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Project Controls, Engineering, Safety, Quality, Utilities, and support departments tied to schedule-sensitive work activities
  • Maintain accountability, communication flow, follow-through, and day-to-day coordination throughout project scheduling activities and ongoing construction operations
  • Manage scheduling coordination tied to active work fronts, roadway operations, structure work, utility activities, and milestone-sensitive construction operations throughout the Project
  • Keep project schedules aligned with Project priorities, production goals, staffing needs, and ongoing construction activities throughout all phases of the Project


Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction sequencing and project controls
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing CPM schedules
  • Ability to identify schedule risks, delays, and recovery strategies
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 (preferred), Microsoft Project, Excel, and scheduling software
  • Ability to manage multiple schedule updates in a fast-paced environment


Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of scheduling experience on heavy civil or infrastructure projects
  • Primavera P6 strongly preferred
