Summary: Provides general and preventive maintenance to all locations
(Manufacturing, Warehouse, Research and Development labs and Offices).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
- Provides general maintenance to all company properties such as painting walls, doors, floors, plumbing, landscaping, installing racks and shelves as needed.
- It provides some electrical maintenance as needed.
- Repairs irrigation systems, garbage disposals.
- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance to equipment and machinery in all locations as needed, including fork-lifts, pumps, tanks, dispensing lines, dispensing valves, mixers.
- Obtains quotes and orders supplies and tools. Controls Inventory and maintenance supplies.
- Supports the daily rounds between locations when requested.
- Monitors and coordinates contractors to ensure that work is done on time and appropriately.
- Executes and updates the activities assigned under the ISO9000 Infrastructure Maintenance Plan.
- Utilizes the ISO9000 forms to keep records of general maintenance requests and preventive maintenance work orders.
- Purchases maintenance supplies following the approval procedures.
- Follows EHS (Environmental, health, safety) policies and procedures.
- Complies with OSHA regulations.
- Performs other maintenance tasks when required.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
