Job Summary:

• The IT Project Manager – Financial Domain will be responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of IT projects within the financial sector.

\n

• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, strong knowledge of financial services processes and regulations, and an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Lead the end-to-end project management lifecycle: initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.

\n

• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, developers, QA, and other teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into actionable project plans.

\n

• Manage project scope, schedule, resources, risks, and issues, and proactively resolve obstacles.

\n

• Prepare project documentation including project charters, schedules, status reports, and risk/issue logs.

\n

• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executive leadership.

\n

• Oversee vendor management, procurement, and third-party integrations as required.

\n

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR) and company policies.

\n

• Implement best practices in project management (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies).

\n

• Manage change requests and ensure successful project transitions to operations/support teams.

\n

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and process optimization within the team.

\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

\n

• 7+ years of experience in IT Project Management, with at least 2 years in the financial services domain (banking, insurance, capital markets, payments, fintech, etc.).

\n

• Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification is preferred.

\n

• Strong understanding of financial services processes, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

\n

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional teams.

\n

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello).

\n

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

\n

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

\n
