BCI is currently hiring two Senior Java Full Stack Developers with a strong background in SW design, development and CI/CD experience. This opportunity is centered on a Full Stack Java Development, with CI/CD experience serving as an important complement. The ability to take code from development through production is a fundamental expectation for this role. Role will be hybrid in the NY/NJ area. We can work on a W2/1099 basis only. No C2C or subcontractors. Open for USC, Perm Resident, GC, OPT EAD/STEM. No H1 or sponsorship available.

Job Description:

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
\n
• Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
\n
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
\n
• Participates in design sessions to drive outcome-oriented solutions regarding architectural designs and technical solutions.
\n

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
\n
• At least 10+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer
\n
• Advanced Java/Spring Boot programming experience
\n
• Proficiency in automation and CI/CD methods and tools (Jenkins/Spinnaker)
\n
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
\n
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
\n
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
\n
• Practical cloud native experience (AWS, Azure)
\n
\n
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
\n
• Experience with and knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
\n
• Experience with various testing methodologies (TDD, BDD, Unit, Contract, Component, Performance, Resilience Testing)
\n
• Experience with various testing tools and frameworks (Junit, Pact/Pactflow, Cucumber, Karate, JMeter/Blazemeter, Gremlin, Mockito, Wiremock, Hoverfly)
