Java Backend Lead

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and architect scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.

\n

• Build and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.

\n

• Implement microservices architecture and ensure system performance, scalability, and security.

\n

• Integrate backend services with internal systems, authentication platforms, and enterprise data sources.

\n

• Implement enterprise authentication and authorization mechanisms, including SSO and OAuth2.

\n

• Mentor backend developers and provide technical guidance and code reviews.

\n

• Establish best practices for code quality, unit testing, integration testing, and technical documentation.

\n

• Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure backend services meet reliability and security standards.

\n

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

\n

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java development.

\n

• Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring-based application development.

\n

• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and database integration.

\n

• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development.

\n

• Experience designing and implementing microservices architecture.

\n

• Knowledge of enterprise authentication and authorization, including SSO and OAuth2.

\n

• Experience with code reviews, testing frameworks, and software development best practices.

\n

• Prior experience providing technical leadership or mentoring developers.

\n

• Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

\n

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

\n

• Understanding of application security, performance tuning, and distributed systems.
