HM Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Telecom Technicians to join our growing team. If you have experience installing, testing, and maintaining telecommunications systems and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test fiber optic and copper cabling.
- Pull, route, and secure telecommunications cables.
- Install and troubleshoot network, voice, and data equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project specifications.
- Perform cable testing, labeling, and documentation.
- Ensure all work meets customer specifications and industry standards.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Telecom Technician or Structured Cabling Technician preferred.
- Experience with fiber optics, Cat5e/Cat6, and low-voltage systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with cable testing equipment and termination standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, lifts, and in various weather conditions.
- OSHA 10 certification is required
